I went to middle school in the United States and I completed my Abitur (high school diploma) in Germany so I would say that I'm pretty competent in both languages. I'm not a professional translator and I would like to be honest about that, but I'm pretty darn good. I have translated the resumes and applications of my German friends for free and they were pretty satisfied. Going to high school in Germany, I had to translate everything in the beginning because I couldn't speak one word of German. Now, I can confidently say that I have come quite far. Any jobs would be a nice refresher for me because I live in an English country now.
