What is Instructional Design? It is a systematic way of developing instruction that is customized specifically for the learner. This process consists of analyzing the learning needs and goals of the student(s) and developing training media to meet those needs. The training materials can consist of handbooks, workbooks, PowerPoint presentations, websites or all of the above. Through the scientific process of observation and evaluation; successful instructional aids can enhance the learning experience. As an Instructional Designer, I have created training materials for Usher Boards, Witnessing Teams, Private Corporations, Civic Groups, and individuals. In each case it was important to create effective training materials in order to accommodate the intellectually growing population. Successful results were achieved with continued positive feedback.
