Body of Melbourne man Justin Males missing for over a fortnight has been found in a Melton park.

A mother's heart-wrenching pleas for the return of her missing son have ended in tragedy after the man's body was found in a park on Wednesday.

Justin Males, 34, was last seen in CCTV footage on July 11 when he went for a walk towards Toolern Creek just before 7pm shortly after being dropped off at his Melton home on Barries Rd in Melbourne's west.

His body was found in the Melton park near Ferris Rd.

Victoria police said his death is not being treated as suspicious.
