Discovery & Strategy
We'll start the process by understanding the landscape - your competitors, audience and market, as well as establishing your brand values. This information helps us identify market trends as well as gaps, which we will use to position your brand identity in a unique place.
Mood Boards (Brand Concepts)
Using a combination of original designs, reference imagery, your thinking and light-touch messaging, we'll create mood boards, each one conveying a unique territory for the brand identity. This work will serve as the foundation to the identity and provide space for initial feedback before going too far into the creative process. Once we've reviewed the mood boards together, we'll refine a visual identity based on your favourite concept.
Logo
When we've aligned on a chosen concept, we'll create 3-4 draft logos, presented in a series of mock-ups to give a clear representation of how the logos will function in a variety of applications to ensure it embodies the brand purpose. One draft will be taken forward for refinement.
Colour Palette & Typography
We'll explore options for applying colour to the logos as well as a general colour palette and find two fonts that are consistent with the brand and compatible for web.
Brand Styling Sheet
We'll prepare a short document setting out your finalised brand values, font usage, colour codes and mock ups to inspire and guide any future design work.
