Whether attending street parties or watching live streams from home, royal enthusiasts are embracing the historic moment, resulting in empty towns. Few cars can be seen on the roads, and even London's streets are bare as crowds flock to join the festivities. Bluewater, a large shopping center near London, remained mostly empty with only a handful of shoppers choosing to shop instead of celebrating the King's day of destiny. The first Coronation in 70 years began with King Charles III and Queen Consort Camilla leaving Buckingham Palace in the Diamond Jubilee State Coach, watched by the world.
