I designed a three fold brochure for a friend that has a beauty treatment business. She felt that her old brochure was too old fashion, she want a more modern feel, also she wanted to improve her prices. I used a photo of a poppy that I had taken, scan it and dropped it into Photoshop where I distorted the image by stretching it and then fade it about 30% to use as a background on the brochure. I received a new photo of her and scan that to place along with her copy and new price list inside the brochure. I changed the font on the copy from roman to a more readable book font. Added some lines in red to highlight areas and give her a zip with the illustrator files and the type fonts so that her printer can produce her finish product. She was very happy at the results. I produce a CD cover that I made for my employer using images of rush hour traffic that I scanned and placed into Photoshop. I solarized the image and changed the coloring of the image, then I placed it onto a Illustrator
