Design has been my passion for as long as I can remember...I knew from an early age (6) that I had a "thing" for design when I insisted that my Grandmother a Seamstress make an outfit that I drew so I could "model" in it. Although my first love was fashion, little did I know then that my love for design would lead me to paper and not fabric. By my junior year in high school, there was no doubt in my mind that Art would be a large part of my future. But could I make a living with it? Simply put, the answer is yes-when you love what you do, anything is possible. I graduated from NYIT with a BFA in Graphic Design and, since then, have been working very hard at mastering my skill. I started mycareer working as 1 of 3 designers for The New York Law Journal. Along with freelancing, I've worked in the publishing industry as a Senior Art Director, designing direct mail campaigns, brochures, identities, catalogs, ads, merchandise, album covers, stationary and much more. I love

Maria is a great! I will use her again for layouts when needed. You can trust that she will work her tail end off for you. She worked on the weekend at all hours to get the job done for us. Thank you for all your hard work! Layouts are WONDERFUL!!!

Maria and I had artistic differences and I ended up ending the project early and passing it on to another professional that seemed more in line with my taste. That is the only reason I did not give her an Excellent mark on Innovation & Creativity. Again I don't think this should be viewed as a negetive on her part. Everyone has different taste and one artist can not be skilled in ALL styles of expression. I marked her Excellent on everything else and that speaks for it self. Just to add to that, she was sick for a few days but even while recovering she worked on my project, because she knew I was on a strick time line. To add to that she was VERY flexiable in providing various renditions of the logo and implementing my concepts.
