I currently work as a full-time graphic designer and illustrator at the Columbus Museum of Art. I have almost 4 years experience designing print material that is clear, understandable, and accessible in order to promote educational programming at a non-profit institution. I am looking for part-time free-lance work to expand and diversify my portfolio, which already includes a number of projects, such as multi-page brochures, calendars, postcards, mailers, and flyers, in full color and black and white. I also provided original illustrations for many of these projects. I am well-versed in a number of design and page-layout software applications, including Photoshop, InDesign, QuarkXpress, PowerPoint, Freehand, Illustrator, and web design software Fireworks and DreamWeaver. I'm inspired by the way that humans, throughout history, have used myth, folklore and storytelling as a means to reconnect with the natural world.
