Business Analysis

I have a strong motivation to turn chaos into order. I am great at analyzing workflow, data and processes and improving them. This requires excellent research, interviewing and communication skills. Building rapport and trust makes work go easier. I take learnings from my large company experiences and apply them to smaller organizations. I enjoy being a hands-on individual contributor but also work well in teams. My deep understanding of business processes and their technology applications allows me to serve as a liaison between business groups and IT architecture and development teams. This is usually called Business Systems Analysis. I clarify requirements, review recommendations, answer questions and then create business requirements (including agile user stories) and high-level design documents that technical people use to program and build. I've learned to write succinctly about complex topics. I vbelieve using twitter for profesional purposes has improved this. Most of my experience has been in healthcare and financial services.
