Since 2005 I have been practicing primarily in small business and corporate litigation, with a smaller amount of my practice dedicated to personal injury and family law. Earlier this year I began helping people via freelancing after witnessing the opportunity over the last few years working with various tech startups. While new to guru, I have a web presence and would be happy to discuss my qualifications with you at length at any time, but I'll provide the highlights herein. 2000 graduate of Clemson University in Clemson, South Carolina, with a B.A. in History and minors in English and Legal Studies. 2004 graduate of Widener University School of Law, obtaining a Doctorate of Jurisprudence while active as a member of the Delaware Journal of Corporate Law. from September, 2004 through August, 2005 I practiced in the field of commercial real estate with the Friese and Price Law Firm in Atlanta, Georgia. While there for a relatively brief time, I learned the intricacies of the commercial closing while spending a substantial portion of my time reviewing and editing commercial leases. From August, 2005 until February of this year I practiced with the Howe Law Firm in Alpharetta, Georgia, a boutique commercial litigation firm. Almost from the outset with Howe I managed a heavy load of cases from the ininitial demand stages until I was able to obtain a judgment and do what I could to collect on it. I performed over one hundred combined jury and non-jury trials while arguing countless motions I personally drafted or responded to in court. During this time I obtained over five million dollars in judgments in my client's favor and was able to collect on over one million of that amount. Since leaving Howe I have been freelancing under the name Sandy Springs Legal Services, LLC and would be happy to help you out with your legal needs.
