I am a seasoned financial executive with broad experience in tax strategies, finance, accounting, financial services and writing-somewhat a jack of all trades. I hold a Masters in Business Administration (M.B.A.), with a concentration in tax and finance, while boasting experience across various industries, including, but not limited to, energy, real estate and technology. I have served as the CFO of two start-up companies and am very well versed in financial modeling, forecasting, budgeting and reporting as well as putting together information memorandums and pitch decks on businesses. Furthermore, I am stellar at corporate structuring (entity structures and holding companies- both foreign and domestic) and overall business strategy. I have an extensive knowledge of tax strategy, planning and preparation which focuses on minimizing federal, state and local tax liabilities while utilizing tax deferral strategies. I have over 15 years of tax experience dealing with partnerships returns, corporate returns and individual returns. In addition, I served as an Assistant Vice President for a middle market investment bank where I built business plans, financial forecasts, pitch books and information memorandums for nearly a dozen companies across various industries. In regards to financial writing, I have written articles for a layman to understand, as well as scholarly articles. I wrote the content for the Deutsch Bank Asset Management db-trackers ETF section as well as wrote an examination and study book for asset managers to be certified in the field of exchange traded funds.
