17+ years of experience with small business programs, management, diversity programs, business development and procurement • Preparing and submitting required reports, updating the program as needed, setting small business goals consistent with federal requirements and regulations; monitor and update subcontracting agreements, work sites, accounting procedures • Review of goal setting processes, report creation on all relevant metrics associated with the small business program, interpreting and summarizing information in a report format • Assisting small businesses, contractors and suppliers including minority and women owned businesses and disadvantaged business enterprises (DBEs) in participating with local opportunities and completing certifications • Design and implementation of new educational modules to update clients to changes in federal contracting. Updates to website, printing, forms, training aids and other communication pieces • Researches and maintains up to date information on relevant small business programs and best practices adopted by other agencies at the regional, State and Federal levels • Knowledgeable in registration and certification requirements for federal and local agencies • Proficient in government procurement including interpreting solicitations for federal and local agencies and government prime contractors. This includes understanding standard contract requirements
