A course management system aims to provide ease in access of academic data at all levels ranging from the administrative body to the teachers and the students of a particular institution. This report documents the procedure for the development of an efficient CMS that not only executes its said purpose, but is also proficient in sorting out erroneous data and displaying an appropriate prompt against it. The program was to be designed to provide a particular set of actions to be performed at admin, teacher and student levels. The pre-requisites for the task involved the construction of a filing system such that inputs all relevant data in it and sorts it out, so that the required data can be accessed at the higher levels of the institutional hierarchy.
