I started out as an engineering apprentice with a company called STC and worked there for 11 years.I then moved to Imperial college where I worked for 17 years.During that time I worked huge amount of projects, including designing parts for a micrometeor collection system deployed on the ISS. I am now a freelance consultant to the Insititute of Biomedical Engineering (IBME) Imperial college London. I have taken part in a Trans antarctic expedition, details http://www.transantarcticexpedition.com/ here I was the science rep for Imperial College London.I also went to Taiwan, where I oversaw the installation on one of our expedition vehicles into an environmental museum exhibition then gave a series of lectures, also helped the british council with promoting British engineering.
