* PhD in Mechanical engineering with twelve years of industrial experience in product design and development of plastic, sheet metal and machined parts and electronics and optical packaging of printed circuit boards for telecom, medical device and automotive industries. * Project management experience in implementing designs from concept to prototype to production, interacting with suppliers and customers, assigning and following through on tasks, creating schedules, creating specifications, defining product/project. * Excellent background in statistics, design of experiments, mathematics and numerical modeling with emphasis on thermal and stress finite element analysis. * Experience in experimental stress analysis and in design of experiments methodology. * Highly proficient in design and analysis packages like Solidworks, ProEngineer, Ansys, Matlab, Flotherm, CFDesign
