Next Steps:
This is the process I usually follow on a typical mechanical design project:
⚡Client provides initial project details including initial dimensions and rough sketches.
⚡For some projects, I will draw initial hand sketches to convey the basic shape and placement of components.
⚡I will complete the design of parts and assemblies in CAD software.
⚡I will validate the design using critical parameters and also check for minimum thickness, clearances, etc.
⚡After the 3d design is approved, I will develop detailed 2d technical drawings for the project.
⚡Depending on the project requirements, I will prepare relevant technical documentation such as Bill of Materials, Part Lists, etc
⚡I will prepare and share a folder with all deliverables on Dropbox or Google Drive.
