Jhun has almost 17 years of experience in civil design, construction and project implementation gained with both contractors and major international consultants. As a civil engineer, he has highly developed research and analytical capabilities and excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills. He is comfortable working with people from a variety of backgrounds, cultures and disciplines and is a flexible and practical problem solver with proven leadership skills, with the ability to work on his own initiative without supervision. His key strengths lie in his advanced knowledge of computer software including Auto CAD Civil 3D, Auto CAD 2016, CAD MAP 2011, and Micro station XM and V8 which he uses in drawing production for design approval, presentations, detailed shop and as-built drawings. He is also experienced in the use of ArcGIS software and Shape file manipulation. Jhun's experience includes rail, infrastructure, building and the oil & gas industry and has worked in the Middle East region for over 13 years, with the majority of that involved in two of the area’s largest metro projects in Dubai and Doha. He is currently located in Doha, Qatar and fully involved in the phases of the QIRP Doha Metro and Long Distance Railways as a CAD utility specialist in the Alignment and Public Approval section of the client organisation Qatar Rail. His key strength is his hands on experience of utility diversion design, approval processes and procedures as well as a broad understanding of other civil engineering disciplines, practises and processes with specific knowledge of water and drainage system design, detailing and specification.
