You provide a few photos of the person(s) you want to be illustrated. We'll talk about what you would like the pose to be and if you want any scenery with them or it's just a simple background. Then I will do a pencil sketch of the portrait and send you a proof. At this point you can tell me if there is anything you would like to change. It's very easy to change at this stage. Once the pencil sketch is approved, I will ink the lines and color the piece. If you have any color preferences please let me know ahead of time to reduce the cost to you. I will send you a proof at this point as well and if there is anything you would like to change about the color I can change it. Typical cost is $114 for a single subject, $190 for two subjects (mother & child, kid & pet, man & boat, etc.) with a simple background at size 8x10 or smaller. The price for a background will vary quite a bit depending on what you want, so please message me for a quote.
