I'm just being funny with the title. But seriously, we might expect the most commonly needed tasks in CSS to be easier than the very special unusual tasks. This is not the case. And this is why it's better to hire an experienced person whenever possible, even for "the easy stuff". And yes, I can do more than center an image. Beyond completing a coding bootcamp and working freelance for 2 years, I have 1.5 years experience working full-time at a mid-size company as a front end software engineer. I worked mostly with jQuery and Bootstrap. Yet, because the company had a custom style guide for their customer-facing pages, I worked outside of framework boundaries more often than not. More of the work was custom HTML and CSS than Bootstrap. I created custom CSS animations. I learned the limitations of CSS in emails. Also I completed a training course in React.js and did one project with it. We used GitHub to manage our codebase, and we used SASS to organize our style sheets. (I wrote SCSS and use the SASS compiler to output CSS.)
