Certified Public Accountant

- Performs inventory reconciliation on a number of large and complex Shell refineries and Joint Ventures - Monitors inventory movements; checks accuracy and completeness of information using SAP - Analyzes discrepancies, errors and irregularities in the inventory management process in SAP - Conducts process knowledge sharing sessions with business stakeholders and new hires - Proposes improvements to the process leading to more robust controls and better financial results - Manages refineries’ process metrics and addresses the challenges timely - Operates and tests financial and internal SOX and business controls related to inventory management - Engages with Finance Managers and Finance Advisors at the Shell Sites in relation to issue resolution - Trains new hires/joiners on the technical/business aspects of the process including use of SAP - Codes hydrocarbon invoices with their respective G/L accounts and assures timely billing - Helps in reviewing and answering control related issues as the team’s SOX Control focal point - Prepares monthly metric results as a Key Performance Indicator focal point
