CFD analysis of Marine System in STARCCM

I am professional mechanical engineer (PhD in Mechanical Engineering and Ms in Marine Hydrodynamics), and CFD expert with 10 plus years of hand on experience with computational modeling/meshing-grid discretization for CFD/FEA analysis; hydrodynamics and hydro-acoustic analysis of maritime vessels and vehicle.

 I am providing following services: 

1. Pointwise Meshing and computational modeling for CFD/FEA Analysis using Pointwise/Ansys/ICEM 

2. FEA and CFD analysis on marine structures and systems for hydrodynamics and hydroacoustic analysis using Ansys /Comsole Multiphysics/Solidworks/Star-CCM+ 

3. Structural analysis of seaborn structure in FEMAP/ANSYS and in ETAB/SAP2000 for modular structures 

4. Hull surface modeling and CFD simulations of Hull form at any Froude Number 

5. Hydrostatic Stability analysis and hydrodynamic analysis for hull optimization (ISO 12215 and IMO A.749 standards) against flow resistance 

6. Calculations of pressures, moments, forces, and determination of sheet thickness and structures for structural configuration (Lloyd's and ISO 12217 standards). 

In my professional career of over 10 years, I have been involved in development of different product where meshing/grid-discretization constraints imposed by computational modeling for simulation analysis as well as those cause by poor representation of results are dealt with. I am providing the state of the art services related to 3D CAD modeling for Analysis (DOA), Grid discretization (meshing) of computational Models, Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) analysis, Structural Finite Element analysis (FEA), and manuscript writing/proofreading by using Solidworks, StarCCM+, FEMAP, Pointwise, Numeca Autoblade/Fine Turbo, Ansys, Comsole, CFTurbo, Overleaf/Latex and Tecplot.

Major Projects : 

1. Computation modeling and structured block meshing of remotely operated vehicle propeller in Pointwise to carryout CFD analysis in Ansys CFX/Fluent. 

 2. Investigating the pressure distribution in Impellor/blade region of axial/radial turbine/centrifugal pump using BladeGen, Turbogen, Ansys CFX, CFTurbo and VISTA CF/CCD. 

3. Hydrodynamic and Hydroacoustic Analysis for prediction of Noise Level of acoustic Sensor Pod along with lift and drag estimation; Moreover, its structure integrity was appraised using 2 Way FSI (Fluid-Structure Interaction). 

4. Determination of Propulsive thrust and body drag UUVs; and Optimization of blade geometry against different rpm/motor power 

5. Investigation of Hydrostatic stability and Hydrodynamic parameters of pontoon in ANSYS AQWA. 

6. FEA analysis of ship hull sheet panel of 6 mil HDPE : Software, Ansys Mechanical/APDL;

7. thermal management of hermetically sealed enclosure for marine PCs; Thermal Flow analysis through forced convection for determination of hot-spots using Ansys ICEPAK
