Just like in a live action movie not all actors fit all parts. It might be the look, the voice or the performance that’s not quite right. You need a specific actor for a specific role. Well it’s the same with character design! I see myself as a casting director that is looking for that special someone and you, the client, are the director that has the final say at the end. I want to make your vision come to life. You can’t have the same looking character for a banker, a farmer and a doctor or the same character cater to different targeted audiences. There will always be a difference in silhouette, build of the body, face, etc., also in the animation type, overall and specific movements, walks, facial expressions and so on. The viewer is always looking for someone to relate to and get attached to, even on a subconscious level. If your video has a relatable character there is a higher chance for the viewer to like it, if the viewers like it there is a higher chance they will pay more attention and care more about your message, service, company, product, etc.
