I am a fraud and chargebacks expert with decades of experience in researching and combating credit card abuse. Currently, I consult with a few different e-commerce companies in regards to accounting issues. I also have drafted and updated rebuttal templates specific to each client's needs, whether they have Shopify or Paypal chargebacks (or any other CRM), or bank issued chargebacks. My main tasks are reviewing the disputes and responding, as well as avoiding disputes by setting fraud filters and flags. This work includes tracking and analysis, and I typically publish reporting on a weekly basis. My win rate for rebuttals is around 70% because many of the disputes are legit - or what is known as "friendly fraud." The cardholder claims they didn't authorize the transaction, and due to (mostly) Visa's approach to fraud claims, merchants typically have to bear the burden. I've had a lot of success showing compelling evidence of their authorization, such as proof of delivery. I have significant experience in researching and responding to chargebacks in Stripe, Shopify, Merlink, FirstData, and PayPal, but also many other systems like Wells Fargo Business Track.
