With a CIM grounding in traditional marketing, I have been heavily involved in online marketing for the past 9 years through my own freelance projects as well as international corporate and blue chip experience in steering online activity. Over this period I have had the opportunity to build the online marketing function from scratch for a number of products and services. As a result I have a deep understanding of online acquisition, especially in the form of Conversion Optimisation, Paid Search, SEO, Display and Affiliates. As well as delivering qualified leads, I have also been involved in branding and usability issues, working to improve search engine visibility whilst maintaining usability and improving conversion through use of compelling imagery and copy. Additionally I have been heavily involved national media campaigns including TV, radio and viral videos. With experience in a broad range of marketing activities in a diverse range of industries, primarily telecoms, wireless and online recruitment, I have a strong interest in go to market strategies for new products and early stage startups.
