I am a Independent Consultant in the steel industry in India. Until September 2008, i was working as the Deputy General Manager for Steel Authority of India Limited. I was in charge of the operation and shipping section in coal chemicalsdivision of Bokaro Steel Plant. i am knowledgeable about the production process and sales of coal chemicals such as coal tar, ammonium sulphate and crude benzol products. During my tenure at SAIL, i headed the six units of coal chemicals area whichincluded sulphuric acid plant of 150 TPD capacity, CO gas handling unit, Benzol recovery plant of 100 TPD capacity, tar distillation plant of 300 TPD capacity and benzol refining and rectification plant. I have over 35 years of experience in the steel industry.
