For James, creating caricature, is like no other art form. Each and every face brings a unique challenge.
Caricature and comic art have been a major part of James' life since he was very young. Growing up, he read all the MAD magazines and Marvel comics he could get his hands on. The works of MAD artists Mort Drucker, Harry North, Esq, Sam Viviano and Jack Rickard, made a very strong impression on him. This was where he developed a true passion for the art form.
After graduating from Franklin Pierce College in 1988 with a Graphic Communication's degree, James began doing commissioned caricature illustrations for various corporations, working in both traditional (inks and watercolors) and digital mediums (Photoshop, Illustrator and FreeHand). It wasn't long after, that he started doing frequent publication illustration. He is currently featured twice monthly, in Network Computing Magazine`s Last Mile section. Also, his work has been featured recenlty in numerous ad campaigns, for
