Risha Rox is a lifelong visual artist and a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley. She refers to herself as a “Corporealist”, a visual artist transforming reality utilizing the human face and body as living, breathing canvas. Through her work, Risha engages a modern practice of two ancient traditions: body painting and storytelling. Her fundamental artistic purpose is to explore the human potential for evolution and evoke lucidity within the waking dream commonly perceived as reality.Risha has showcased her work in Los Angeles and New York to great acclaim. She is also RAW: Brooklyn’s 2012 Independent Makeup Artist of the Year.
