I'm a published freelance illustrator. I charge $100-200 each for full page children's book art. That's for a full page full color scene. Spot illustrations cost less. Double page spreads would cost more. My price per illustration is based on the style, size, and complexity of the image. I can give you a price estimate once I know more about your needs. I work in a variety of styles and mediums. If I am hired to illustrate a children's book I won't blindly sign over all rights and I I like to discuss royalities. Books like this are a real joint venture.
