I have strong research skills and am not satisfied with an article or writing piece until I feel it has really covered the topic in depth, no matter the word count required. I put in as much breadth in a 300 word piece as I would a longer article. I hold myself to very high standards and am extremely good at tailoring pieces to the client's needs. I do not have a lot of paid experience but my writing career has spanned years. Moving to England in my teens and moving back to the United States 15 years later has given me a healthy respect for culture shock going both ways. It has also, together with my extensive travelling , broadened my horizons infinitely. As a result I find any topic, skill or job worth exploring and have had varied and interesting work experiences, in, but not limited to, fields such as rowing coaching, dental nursing, mental health, and academic advising.
