I like to tell little stories with my illustrations. To make you laugh or cry or think about. To touch your heart. And make you see the magic. Humans and animals together are important components in my illustrations. I love animals because they are honest and without judgment. I love to use that image to reinforce emotions. I have a rich imagination and often make a story in my head of everyday things. For example one of my illustrations about a swan and a little girl. I saw a swan upside down in a pond and thought, what would he be doing? What would he see? An image of a magical hidden underwater world soon emerged. In my work I use a lot of different perspective angles. With this I create a little extra drama in the illustration.
