My name is Francois Saayman. I am 51 years of age. I am registered with ECSA (Engineering Council of South Africa) as a Professional Engineering Technician Registration no 2021600749, with 30 years’ experience in the civil engineering field. I have been involved in repair, renovations, service and maintenance projects for the Department of Public Works and Infrastructure for 16 years at nine land ports of entry on the South-African/Lesotho border. I have vast knowledge and experience in the design, draughting of civil infrastructure, contract management and administration and in the project management of repair, renovations, maintenance and servicing projects for buildings and structural elements, roads, water and sewer installations, wastewater and water treatment plants, electrical installations, HVAC and air-conditioning systems, firefighting equipment and auditing of occupation health and safety documentation. I have obtained a National Diploma: Civil Engineering from Tshwane University of Technology.  I am proficient in AllyCAD, CivilDesigner, Prokon, Wadiso and Microsoft Office programs, with minimal exposure to AutoCAD, Civil 3D and I have experience of Modelmaker, Roadmaker and Pipemaker. I am a friendly professional, hands-on person that is not afraid to get my hands dirty and believe to do my work right the first time.
