Civil Engineering is all about creating, improving and protecting the environment in which we live.It provides the facilities for day to day life such as transport, and the infrastructure allowing industry. Civil Engineer plan, design and oversee construction and maintenance of building structures and facilities, such as roads, railways, airports, bridges etc. Civil Engineers can either be consulting engineers who advise on projects and design, or contacting engineers who turn their plans reality and maintain the structure once they are built. Work Activities: 1. undertaking technical studies including site investigation. 2. using a range of computer for developing designs. 3. Resolving design and development problems. 4.Ensuring projects run smoothly and structures are completed within budget and on time. 5. Strong knowledge of Auto Cad and 3D design. 6.Strong Knowledge of windows operating system and MS Word and MS Excel. 7. Good communication skill with the ability to clearly communicate with technical subjects matter to wide range of audience. 8. Desire and ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities. 9. Can work independently. 10. Prepare technical drawing and plans.
