I have been involved in various bridge design projects. My scope included planning, preparing General arrangement drawings, Estimation of Quantities & Cost of project, and designing of all components involved etc. Superstructure includes Pre-tensioned/Post tensioned, I-girders/box girder/voided slab/solid slab simply supported as well as continuous spans. Substructures include Counter forts, PCC solid Abutments, Portals, Box Returns, Single columns capped by Pier cap etc. I have been involved in design and checking of various Underpasses with cantilever retaining walls, U-trough walls, pre-stressed covered portion, solid/voided slabs. I have provided designs for temporary staging for superstructures and existing pipe supports.
