I offer designs that are not only created based on my experience as a civil engineer, but also my experience of working for local goverments reviewing and approving plans while also inspecting the construction of projects to ensure they meet codes and ordinances. This gives me an advantage having the ability to see the project from the reviewer or inspectors position and anticipating any requirements. The permit or approval process is different for each city, county, state or federal agency and being familiar with the codes and ordiances as well as the flow of the permit process is key in getting the quickest approval, and avoiding crucial loss of time by missing a step within the process. I also design projects taken into account the costs involved. This is a balance between meeting the codes and ordinances, creating the best functional design, while also saving the most on materials and implementation.
