We commissioned Jo Sycamore for a work consisting of a Bayeux Tapestry style painting but with an Arthurian theme. A detailed brief and sketch were provided and a deadline of several months was applied. It was immediately clear that Jo was very interested in the project and she spent a lot of her time doing research to get the picture and content 'just so'. We have received the piece and are utterly thrilled with the work - it was exactly what we wanted, and more. The sketch we provided was followed, the details we asked for were all included. More than this though, Jo's own research into the subject enabled her to embellish and add details perfect to the subject matter which enhanced the picture in all aspects. Notes were given with the final product explaining her decision making process and why certain colours etc were selected. Overall, throughout the whole time, we found Jo's communication to be spot on. Just the right sort of questions without being a constant barrage. I cannot recommend this artist highly enough for how she has managed to produce what was in our minds and design/paint it exactly how we wanted, all on deadline. Excellent work in every respect.
