Dear Sir/Madam, I have more than 10 years of work experience in the area of Climate Change (Mitigation & Adaptation) under the framework of United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), Green Climate Fund (GCF), National Adaptation Fund on Climate Change (NAFCC), National Mission for Sustaining the Himalayan Ecosystem (NMSHE), Verified Carbon Standard (VCS), Gold Standard (GS). During my work experience, I have worked on Greenhouse Gas Emission Reduction, Capacity Building and Climate Resilience projects. I have worked as Team Leader, Validator/Verifier, Technical Expert, Technical Reviewer and Manager (Technical & Certification) for the Climate Change mitigation projects. I have worked on the projects based on Renewable Energy, Energy Efficiency and Waste Handling. I am the Technical Expert for the Climate Change projects for the Sector 1 (TA 1.1, TA 1.2), Sector 2 (TA 2.1), Sector 3 (TA 3.1) and Sector 13 (TA 13.1 and TA 13.2). During my work experience, I have worked on national as well as international projects. I handled projects located in various parts of India as well as in different countries. I went for physical inspection of projects located in various countries including Kenya, Malaysia, Cambodia, China, Burkina Faso, Madagascar, Vietnam, Mauritius as Team Leader/Validator/Verifier. During my past work experience as Consultant, my work included assisting project owners on their Mitigation/Adaptation projects based on the guidelines of UNFCCC, GCF, VCS, GS. This included preparation of project documents (project concept note, project design document, developing emission reduction & financial calculations), visiting the project site, conducting stakeholder consultation meeting and assisting in host country approval. For the projects under GCF, NAFCC, I was involved in the preparation of the Concept Notes, Detailed Project Reports, liaison with the Nodal departments of the States for facilitating identification of project ideas/concepts from SAPCC and mainstreaming them with the development agenda. I also worked on the Capacity Building (providing technical and knowledge support to State Climate Change Cells under IHCAP programme under NMSHE mission of NAPCC) and Climate Resilience projects.
