Adding closed captions to videos - I currently use Aegisub but would be happy to use any software of your choosing. I started captioning for my own enjoyment, mostly to translate English lecturers into French and French lecturers into English. While I respect the famous "typical" line, I also strive to transcribe what the person sounds like, their hesitations, their style, so that people who either can't hear or don't understand the source language can get the closest to the original.
