I do feel I have good writing skills because during my career in a bank spanning 38+ years, I was tasked with several writing assignments like replying to customer correspondence, drafting letters on products and services, writing speeches, drafting corporate circulars, editing an in-house magazine, writing brief messages relevant to occasions like festivals, birthdays and anniversaries, editing content for websites and so on. Needless to say that over the years my skills have been honed through these various assignments that I now, after retirement from regular service, have the inclination to use professionally. My writing and vocabulary have been influenced by the habit of reading I had from an early age. I have launched this entrepreneurial journey with the confidence that I will be able to deliver content that is fresh and prompt. Fresh, because I have not been in the professional line yet where my writing would possibly have been sullied by clichés and jargon. Prompt, because my professional life in the bank demanded it, which as a result has become second nature.
