Most recently I've done the cover of the Oct. 10, 2010 issue of the Toledo Free Press. I have had a number of Editorial Cartoons published there and in other magazines and newsletters. I've done Caricature Art and Cartooning as a hobby then a sideline going back to the 80s. At that time I featured large poster sized pen and ink renderings of family, friends, and business associates. One of my favorite pieces was a large portrait of Bowling Green State University President Dr. Paul Olscamp. It was for a 10th Anniversary Roast party they had for him. That led to other opportunities including a stint as a Cartoonist and Illustrator for Business Venture Magazine. Today I am venturing into freelancing full time. This has been a dream of mine and with places like Guru, I am hoping that this dream of mine will be realized. I prefer to work in Corel Painter 11. It allows me to create in the computer the same way as when I worked in Prismacolor. I've developed my own style over the years.
