I have a strong inclination to learn about my profession, this has made me gain relevant skills to ensure the implementation of different roles I have played in partnerships, fundraising, communications and knowledge management are above industry needs. I am able to multi-task on several projects effectively knowing how to balance out between emergencies and daily role requirements. I have been in charge of the knowledge management, communications, fundraising and partnerships which I managed quite well. In different capacities I have developed outreach materials that were catchy and informative. My work is always productive, as I am quite good at goal setting and achieving productivity. I am passionate about leveraging various forms of communication pathways to maximize local opportunities and solutions. My technical skills and knowledge in identifying needs and capacities, collaboration, creating solutions, advocating, innovation and learning will enrich my work. I am an excellent spoken and written communicator, and able to tailor messages to a variety of different audiences. I have an excellent strategic sense, an ability to prioritize among competing demands and opportunities. I am a Lawyer, with a postgraduate focus in Forced Migration. I began working in development and humanitarian spheres in 2004 as a volunteer with the Kenya Red Cross Society while pursuing her undergraduate degree in Law. I am driven by the desire to empower communities to have access to opportunities, resources that allow them to address vulnerabilities around them, live with dignity and build their capacities to so that they can thrive. Over the years, I have grown, working with different national and international organizations in providing greater contribution to vulnerable communities, providing the right resources, giving them the ability to collaborate, connect, and improve their quality of life. Working with a diverse team of technical expertise, I have been known how to help the team generate knowledge among themselves and knowledge share to enable the team learn from each other, I recall when I was implementing a judiciary support grant, packaging the work we had done with the government stakeholders had to be cognizant of the different levels of effort that both the government and our organization had put in place, I was able to work with the government stakeholders to enable them to be open about the challenges they had, that necessitated our organization support, I was able to package it in such a way that it showed the collaborative effort between the Government and our organization.
