I am an undergraduate student at Boston University majoring in Psychology and minoring in Human Physiology. I've also taken many classes in Neuroscience and I am trained as an EMT. I have experience as a research assistant in the Cognitive Neuropsychology Lab and also as an undergraduate teaching assistant for Physiological Psychology, both under Dr. Jacqueline Liederman. I hope to become a psychiatric nurse practitioner for individuals with chronic pain, chronic illness, and terminal illness, and for their family members. I recently began transcribing interviews from audio recordings for a sociology study on inequality in our educational system and in the process I discovered both that I enjoyed transcribing and that I was good at it. I also work for my family business, Luis and Clark carbon fiber string instruments, where I have worked on a large customer database and become very efficient at data entry. I am familiar with terminology in the fields of medicine and psychology and I am a very motivated and conscientious worker. I would love to assist in data entry or transcription for any ongoing studies, especially those relating to medicine or psychology. I am new to this website so I don't have a portfolio to show yet, but I can assure you that the quality of my work is impeccable.
