I’ve spent the last three years building, launching and operating a luxury beauty e-commerce site & blog. As is the case with most startups, I wear many hats, do many different things and generally have to be ready for anything at any moment. Everyday, I manage aspects of our fulfillment process, handle inventory and technology issues and, of course, resolve myriad customer service concerns. I’m also responsible for creating and/or editing the site’s content. From writing blog posts on everything from conditioner to colonics, to editing posts by our panel of experts (including Philip Kingsley), to creating compelling product descriptions, I have spent the last three years researching and writing about all things beauty and wellness. My work has been featured on New York Social Diary, Charlotte’s Book, Yahoo Health and the Huffington Post. My real talent, though, is identifying and acting on “big picture” improvements. My on-point business instincts have allowed me to excel at finding ways to increase sales and improve conversion rate, as well as enhance user experience.
