I’m a hardworking and very scientific minded individual with a degree in Medical Science and during the course of my studies, I completed various subjects related to human biology and the Medical Sciences. These included: Haematology, Anatomy and Physiology, Immunology, Microbiology, Reproductive Science’s, Biotechnology and Asthma management. As a result, I was introduced to a wide variety of medical concepts and terminology involving disease and health in various disciplines of medicine. As a part of my Medical Science degree, I was regularly required to research and write articles on various topics. I am familiar with the correct usage of scientific databases to search for relevant journal articles. I’m also well versed in the correct referencing techniques in the Vancouver, APA, Harvard and MLA styles. Furthermore, I can use referencing software such as Endnote. During my degree, I completed a research subject for which my chosen topic was, “The immune evasion mechanisms of the HIV virus”. I was required to write 3 Journal articles of publishable quality on this topic after conducting a thorough literature search. I also did a poster presentation, question and answers session and a power point presentation on the subject to laymen who were not familiar with the topic. I have written other research articles on the subjects of “Labour induction”, “Asthma management in the elderly” and “The genetics of Breast Cancer”. All of these articles were required to be well structured, well written and concise. I look forward to hearing from you.
