IT’S WRITTEN IN THE STARS Agora, what does that word even mean? Well, according to Wikipedia, the word Agora, literally meant “gathering place” and it is described as the center of athletic, artistic, spiritual and political life of the city; in ancient Greece. In this instance would be described as a forum, a place where “Citizens of the World” not just British and Europeans, would gather to exchange ideas and invest in these ideas, so as to eventually better the world. Whether these folks would meet during the day or at night, when the stars are alive, is anyone’s guess. To me, this is what GURU.com is all about. Speaking of stars. Why should I be the right, “Citizen of the Earth”, to join your team? I could tell you that I have a degree in journalism or I am an English major. I could tell you that I have extensive experience, (more than 5 years) in content writing. I could tell you that I would love to work for a dynamic company like yours; that has a new and revolutionary approach to doing business; because I want to change the world, (which I would by the way)! I could tell you that I would add value to your company and create an environment where teamwork and fair play would strive. I could do all this, but, except for the last two previous statements, it would be partially untrue. I personally think I would be the best candidate to join your team because I have an innate ability to put words together. It is a God Given talent that the almighty has bestowed upon me since birth. It was literally “WRITTEN IN THE STARS”, during my birth, and I can prove this to you. Now I don’t mean to sound crazy, and I probably will after you keep reading this, but I share something unique with one of the greatest and most famous writers to have ever lived. You might be asking yourself, who is the said writer? Well, it is none other than Sir Rudyard Kipling. Yes Kipling, the man who was born in Bombay, Presidency of British India, which technically makes him a British Indian; if there is such a thing. Anyway, I digress. So, what do I share with such a prolific figure in the writing game? We share the same Western and Eastern (Chinese) Zodiac signs. Yup, at this point, you are probably thinking “I’m in the twilight zone and I can’t believe I’m reading this crap”. The answer is, you probably are, we will never know. You may be a fan of Astrology or you may not be, but one thing is for sure; they are fun to read! I personally am a fan of astrology, and it is a hobby of mine. I usually like to find out all the famous and successful people’s astrological star signs and try to compare them with each other. It is a sort of a way to find out certain qualities that successful people might share. When looking at successful people, others tend to compare education, and whether successful people inherited great wealth or talent from their parents, but not me! I look at the stars baby, because they hold a certain magic to them.
