I started my career as a Cadet Reporter for Caxton Community Newspapers, writing for its leading sold publication the South Coast Herald. I was also a Municipal Reporter and subsequently a Sports Reporter at the same publication. When the situation demanded it I did General Reporting too. I was a Writer at Rugby365.com and contributor to Sharksrugby.co.za. Subsequent to that I worked for the group of Planetsport websites. They include PlanetF1, Golf365, Cricket365, PlanetRugby and the now defunct Football411. I have also done an internship at the Mail and Guardian, where I did some useful investigative work. I also submitted some pieces for Fox Sports Asia. Most recently I worked for tabloid publication SABreakingNews, which I helped take from 100 000 pageviews per month to 7-million pageviews per month. A large part of that was driving an aggressive social media campaign, especially on twitter. The site now has just under 700 000 followers. The point is, I am dynamic, always willing to learn something new and never take anything for granted. The goalposts have moved a lot in my life but i have often found the target. I am looking for a new target now.
