I along with my friend created the world's first dance music app, EDMBytes which amassed 50K downloads across both iOS & Android. The one of kind app, provided all the happenings of the dance music world to music fanatics in 60 words or less. The highlight of the app was that it was built with minimum resources and yet an amazing and friendly interface, which provided users with all the information they needed via push notifications The app provided fans with new releases, artist interviews, song reviews, festival reviews etc. I was actively doing the business development, strategy, marketing, content writing and partnerships for the app and had managed to forge successful relationships with big labels such as ArmadaMusic, Spinnin Records, Anjunabeats, Sony etc. My ability to write content quickly allowed us to push close to 10 articles in a day. I managed to showcase the app in Amsterdam Dance Event and received several plaudits for it. Through this app I have managed to cover major festivals across the world like UMF, Sunburn, EDC and many more. Apart from writing content, as mentioned above, I was in constant talks with advertisers, artists, media agencies in forging exclusive partnerships through which they would release exclusive content via my app. Of course this was the part of the revenue generation of our app, apart from normal ads.
