The Directorate of Roads and Transport in Ismailia Governorate continued the construction of pedestrian bridges instead of dilapidated halls on the Suez and Manayef canals, with a total of 8 bridges, in addition to 5 bridges implemented by the Irrigation Directorate in Ismailia, with funding from the Ismailia Governorate;  To preserve the lives and property of citizens during their movement between the two banks of the canal.

 Work is now underway to construct the "Khabbaz" bridge on the Suez Canal, and another bridge on the Manayef Canal.

 Engineer Ahmed El-Shimy, Director-General of the Directorate of Roads and Transport in Ismailia, confirmed that the construction works of the Al-Dabiya and Al-Darisa bridges on the Suez Canal have been completed in full, to serve the citizens of the center and city of Ismailia.

 Major General Staff Sherif Fahmy Bishara, Governor of Ismailia, had directed the construction of 13 pedestrian bridges on the Suez and Manayef canals, instead of the dilapidated halls used by citizens during their movement between the two banks of the canal;  To preserve the lives and property of citizens.
