I am a dedicated and creative cookbook writer, who can draw upon a range of topics and techniques in developing recipes. I spend most of my day thinking about the next meal I'll be making, photographing and of course, eating.
My taste in cuisines spans multiple regions and styles. In terms of individual recipes, I tend to lean more towards refined dishes, comprised of only a handful of core ingredients, but focussed on developing key cooking techniques for each component. For example, traditional techniques such as confiting and curing often feature in some of my most-cherished recipes.
In terms of cookbook projects, I relish the opportunity to think outside of the box when approaching a theme. I run my own website called www.foodandtunes.com, where I pair food and music together. The first published cookbook that I ghostwrote during the middle of the global COVID-19 pandemic, Pillars, explores the link between fundamentals in cooking and fundamentals in a maintaining a sound state of mind. Within the book, there are over 40 recipes, each one coupled with individual introductions, often including personal anecdotes.
