During my work as editorial assistant at one of the leading British music publishers Faber (London), I assessed, updated, and enhanced information for publications alongside other duties including writing for their web-hosted database, leading and documenting project work, and commissioning content. I also edited text for publications and online material to the highest degree of accuracy within an exciting team of editors.

Completing an accredited diploma course in proofreading and copy editing gave me a rich education in all aspects of these skills. Through this course, I trained in proofreading and editing various types of text, strategies, and conventions. Developing closer attention to detail I gained a thorough understanding. Practical assignments and excellent tuition and feedback solidified my skills and enlivened my work with new, efficient techniques. I have also been encouraged by consistently receiving praise and recognition for the quality of my work.
