A thorough, sentence-by-sentence evaluation of your work, looking for and correcting errors in grammar, spelling, punctuation, syntax, clarity, and style. For all intents and purposes, I will clean up your mistakes and tighten up your writing while helping you to preserve your voice-- if and when your voice needs to shine through. This service is recommended as a final step in the editing process. If hired as a Copy Editor, my services will include making necessary changes to your work in order to correct mistakes such as misused words and phrases, incorrect spelling and confusing or wayward syntax. This service may also include marginal notes with suggestions for items needing attention though not necessarily "incorrect." I will do my best to notate areas of intentional breech of conventional grammar and usage, but may highlight confusing sentences, gaps in logic or convoluted passages. These areas will be highlighted and notated, but left to your discernment whether to change or not. Should you make changes in response to my suggestions, I'll look over them providing you've tracked these changes so that I can find them. This service includes; This service does NOT include; 1.)
